Ric Sattler lives in Düsseldorf, Germany. He was born in 1980. At the age of 11, he started playing guitar. He grew up with the records of his parents from the 60's and 70's and the rock music of the 90's. As a teenager he played in different bands from the area. After studying, he began to work as a lawyer and soon regained his love of music.
In 2012 he founded the grunge band Ramington Flashride. In the debut album "Back To Seattle" the band worked together with producer Jack Endino from Seattle. In 2016 followed a London tour and another studio production, which was released as "London Tapes" EP. 5 years and over 50 concerts later the band dissolved in 2017.
Just recently, Ric founded the instrumental surf band "The Incredible Catheads". The debut album was voted the "Act of the Month" in the German "Gitarre & Bass Magazine" in August 2017 and has been on the surf rock charts on "Surf Rock Radio" for a year. The band is currently releasing their second album "Locals Only" and also regularly performs live.
Through years of experience with his bands, Ric has constantly improved his songwriting. He also gained a lot of experience in recording and producing. So it is clear that Ric is currently working on his first self-produced solo album "The Blue Call".
